Duke Nukem has recently made a major resurgence after an extended absence from ass-kickery and global heroism.  Duke Nukem Forever is the newest installment in his franchise of video games and to celebrate, I’m gonna let you in on a little secret:  Duke steals his best one-liners from classic action movies.  Maybe you already knew that, maybe you didn’t.  Regardless, I have no negative opinion on Duke for doing so.  He has granted me hundreds of hours of enjoyment since his original side-scrolling adventures on my PC and I respect the longevity of his career.  I would, however, like to finally give credit where credit is due and pay homage to the films and sound quotes that originated some of Duke’s most memorable lines.
