Are your favorites shows hibernating for the summer?  No fear, there are lots of news shows premiering for the summer season as well as a few returners from the Spring season.  Summer is the time that many new shows raise their head and it’s up to you, the viewer, to decide their fate.  More often than not these shows are filling the void when nobody is even bothering to watch TV, but that isn’t to say that all of them are bad.  Some are highly anticipated (or “highly acclaimed” as they say) and I will list them all now for the remainder of June 2011 to satisfy your craving.  I am going to list them in chronological order (and by network), that way do don’t have to hurt your brain like I did finding the listings.

Monday, June 27

10:00 PM:  Weeds (Showtime)

10:30 PM:  The Big C (Showtime)

Wednesday, June 29

8:00 PM:  Melissa & Joey (ABC Family)

8:30 PM:  State of Georgia (ABC Family)

9:00 PM:  Royal Pains (USA)

10:00 PM:  Love in the Wild (NBC), Necessary Roughness (USA)

Thursday, June 30

9:00 PM:  Wicked Attraction (Discovery)

10:00 PM:  Extreme Chef (Food Network)
