Will You Be Watching American Horror Story?
It is hard to ignore the advertisements for the new series ‘American Horror Story‘ as they are constantly reminding us that is is the new “it” show to watch on FX. ’Rescue Me’ is over, ‘Justified‘ is still a ways off for the new season to start, so who will be watching this new show? The ads seem to try and sway the ‘Glee‘ crowd into a new territory of horror, but who knows if it will work or not. If the history of horror movies is any indication this show will attract a large audience on its initial debut episode, then drop off fast. I think I want it to succeed, but it may not be as good as it is telling us it is. I guess we’ll have to wait til next Wednesday at 10 PM and see for ourselves if it will satisfy the horror craving that ‘The Walking Dead‘ (returns Oct. 16th @9PM) has left us in limbo for.
