Holiday Gift Idea: Schwarzenegger’s Tank Watch
Arnold Schwarzenegger has a special treat in store for the holiday gift-giving season. His wristwatch, the M47-331 Tank Watch to be specific, is now available for sale in a limited quantity of 500 pieces. This watch was designed by the Governator himself, to commemorate his two terms in office as the governor of California.
As the story goes, Arnold drove a tank (the US-made M47) in the Austrian Army from 1965 to 1966. Then, in 1992, he found his old tank half buried in the ground along the Austria border and had it sent to the United States. His tank’s serial number is 331, hence the name of this collector’s watch.
It comes in 4 colors/styles, at $1,ooo USD a piece. Proceeds go to an after-school program for kids, so how can you go wrong? Buy it HERE.
In Arnold movie news, you will be glad to know that he has returned to acting and rejoined his ‘Expendables’ castmates (and real-life friends) Bruce Willis & Sylvester Stallone for the sequel, ‘Expendables 2′ which should hit theaters this upcoming 2012 summer. Here is a pic from the filming in Bulgaria that Arnold tweeted (@Schwarzenegger) back in October for the ravenous fans who are anxiously awaiting this new collaboration.
