‘The Blind Side’ (2009) In 2009 Sandra Bullock received her very first Academy Award win for her portrayal of Leigh Anne Tuohy, a full-blooded Texas football mom who opened her heart to a homeless teen and helped nurture him to eventually become a sought-after first round NFL draft pick in the film ‘The Blind Side’.
