Picard: How long before we have warp power again?
Geordi: Well, we're going to have to manufacture a new conduit. That's at least six hours' work.
Picard: Six hours? The banquet will be completely over by then. That's very unfortunate.
Geordi: I could try and speed things up a bit.
Picard: No, no! No. Uh... I wouldn't want to sacrifice the safety of the ship.
Picard has been invited to the admiral's banquet, an event he has managed to dodge for the past six years. The Enterprise has also installed a new warp core that is causing all sorts of problems for them. Here Geordi is telling Picard how long its going to take to fix the problem and by the time its fixed, the banquet will be over.
