Tommy: I did call... Earlier, using the phone.
Richard: Earlier. When?
Tommy: Er--later when--then I-- l-left a message.
Richard: What number did you call?
Tommy: 2-4... 9-er, 5, 6, 7...
Richard: I can't hear you. You're trailing off. Did I catch a 9-er in there? Were you calling from a walkie-talkie?
